INGREDIENTS
1/2 tsp. Grated lemon peel
1 11-inch baked tart shell
2 Bananas, ripe but firm
3 tbsp. Brown sugar
Clear gaze (optional)
8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
1 1/3 cups Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Whole egg
3/4 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Rum extract
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 350°F. Beat cream cheese and Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk together until smoothly whipped. Add egg, cinnamon, extract and grated peel; mix well.
- Pour approx. 3 cups filling into each tart shell until nearly full. Cut bananas into diagonal slices; arrange over filling in concentric circles. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
- Bake until filling is nearly set, about 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Serve chilled. Apply clear glaze to tarts for sheen (optional).
